Students who are in class on Friday will have time to complete the map of WWII in Europe and North Africa and to continue reading chapters 13 & 14. For review of what we learned Monday, students made a chart in their notes of five countries that were anti-democratic, along with their rulers, political systems and other information. We learned about the isolationist movement in the U.S. between WWI and WWII, the three neutrality acts, Senator Nye and the America First Committee. We began watching The Perilous Fight, a film using archival color footage to document the American experience in WWII.
